01

Is Altus free?

Yes. Essential training, nutrition, and movement tools are free — no ads on essentials and no credit card required to get started. Optional in-app purchases include an Analytics subscription ($2.99/month or $29.99/year) and a one-time Plate Calculator ($0.99). Paid subscriptions renew automatically through your Apple App Store or Google Play account unless you cancel before the end of the billing period. See our Terms of Service for billing details.

02

03

Does Altus work offline?

Many day-to-day logging features can be used without a constant internet connection once you are in the app. Syncing your account, downloading updates, food database lookups, and Run tab plan adaptations typically require connectivity. We aim to keep core workout and nutrition logging usable when service is spotty, but we do not guarantee that every feature works fully offline.

04

How does Altus compare to other fitness apps?

Many fitness apps focus on one area — nutrition tracking, running logs, or gym workouts. Altus combines strength training, macro and meal tracking, and adaptive running plans in one connected app. It is a personal fitness tool, not medical advice. The best app is the one you will use consistently; Altus is built for people who want lifting, eating, and running in one place rather than juggling several subscriptions.

05

What does Altus do with my data?

We collect information to run the app, personalize your experience, and improve reliability — including workout history, Run tab plans, and Wellness & Protocols logs you choose to enter. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share your data with third parties for their independent marketing. Data is stored on secure infrastructure tied to your account. You can request access, correction, or deletion by emailing support@altus.fit. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

07

Is Altus legit? Who makes it?

Altus is developed by a small, independent team — Andrei (founder and developer) and Desmin (coach and tutorial creator). It is a real app listed on the Apple App Store and Google Play, used by thousands of athletes. Learn more about the people behind the product on our Team page.
